Wait... What?

There are going to be a lot of terms in this blog that may not make sense to a watchmaking layperson. They may not even make sense to an enthusiast! Luckily, there are resources that can help out.

Hodinkee is one of the best-known watch blogs, and it includes a wonderful animated glossary of watch parts. Many of the things I talk about will go more in-depth than the glossary does, but it's a great resource for an overall understanding of what makes a watch tick... Or at least what those parts are called.
